Frosty Date Bars
Frosty Date Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine, 1/3 c. confectioners sugar, 1 tbsp. water, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter and confectioners sugar; stir in 1 tablespoon water and teaspoon vanilla.
Flour and dash of salt; mix well.
Chopped dates and chopped walnuts. Roll in 1-inch balls.
2 1/2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Slow oven (300Β°) for about 20 minutes, or until cookies and not brown.
While warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
