Frosting
Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. powdered sugar (any brand), 1/2 c. crisco shortening (don't substitute brand) and about 4 tbsp. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine shortening and powdered sugar slowly with a small amount of milk, 2 tablespoons.
Mix well.
Continue to add remaining ingredients.
The key to smooth frosting is good powdered sugar (no lumps); mix a long time for smoother frosting.
Any flavor may be added to recipe (vanilla, almond, cherry, etc.). Choose only one for a different flavor; add only 1 teaspoon.
This will frost a 9x 13-inch cake.
