Frosted Toffee Bars
Frosted Toffee Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked), 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/4 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a medium bowl, combine oats, sugar and margarine; mix well. Spread in a greased 9-inch square pan.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 13 minutes, or until light golden brown; cool.
In a small, heavy saucepan over low heat (or in microwave), melt chips.
Spread over oat mixture; sprinkle with nuts.
Refrigerate until chocolate is set.
Cut into 2 x 1 1/2-inch bars.
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
Makes about 2 dozen bars.
