From Scratch Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together into large mixing bowl.
Add oil and vanilla to milk and pour into bowl with other ingredients.
Beat 2 minutes on medium.
Add unbeaten eggs and beat 2 minutes longer.
Pour into 2 greased 8 or 9-inch layer pans.
Bake in 375Β° oven about 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
When cool, ice with Fluffy Frosting.
