Friendship Cake
Friendship Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. starter juice, 5 c. sugar, 1 large can sliced peaches with juice, 1 large can crushed pineapple with juice and 2 (9 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix the starter juice, 2 1/2 cups of sugar and 1 large can of sliced peaches with juice into a glass gallon jar.
Stir daily for 10 days.
On the tenth day, add other 2 1/2 cups of sugar and large can of crushed pineapple with the juice.
Stir daily for 10 more days.
On the 20th day, add the maraschino cherries and stir daily for 10 more days.
On the 30th day, drain fruit for 2 to 3 hours.
Divide fruit into 3 parts (enough to make 3 cakes apiece). You should have enough juice for 5 cake starters to give friends. (If you don't have enough for 5, just divide what you do have for each cake.)
