Use fruit cocktail if you are just beginning.
Let stand covered 10 days after adding 1 cup sugar.
Let stand at room temperature.
Stir every day.
After 10 days you are ready to begin.
1st Day
Mix together the 1 1/2 cups starter, 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1 can peaches.
Keep covered in large container at room temperature.
Stir every day.
