Fried Pie Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. shortening and water (to moisten, about 8 tbsp.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cut in shortening.
Moisten dough with enough water to give dough right consistency for handling.
Pinch off small amount of dough and roll out but not thin.
Use favorite filling, putting small amount on dough.
Fold over and seal.
Prick top lightly and fry.
(Can be baked instead of fried.)
