Fried Okra
Fried Okra is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sliced okra, 1 onion, chopped coarse, 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. cornmeal and cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put okra and onion in a large plastic bowl.
Toss with flour and cornmeal.
Cook in microwave for 5 minutes, stirring halfway. Put enough oil in iron skillet to coat bottom.
When oil is hot, add okra mixture.
