Fried Okra
Fried Okra is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. cooking oil, 2 c. fresh okra, 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oil.
Slice okra across the pod into small pieces. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a small bag; shake okra in bag until well coated.
Drop several pieces at a time into deep hot fat until brown.
Drain in basket.
Repeat until all are fried. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
