Fried Okra
Fried Okra is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. cut up okra, 1/2 c. meal, salt to taste and 1/2 c. shortening or bacon grease, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Put grease in iron skillet; let it heat.
Roll okra in meal with salt added.
Shake off excess meal.
Put battered okra into grease.
Fry until brown.
Turn off heat.
Place skillet with okra in oven.
Cook at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
