Fried Mozzarella
Fried Mozzarella is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. mozzarella cheese, 1/2 c. flour, 2 eggs, lightly beaten with 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 c. bread crumbs and 1 c. olive oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cut cheeses into 4-inch squares 2-inches thick.
Roll in flour, dip into egg, roll in crumbs, again into egg, again into bread crumbs.
Fry in oil just long enough for bread crumbs to turn golden in color.
Serve immediately (with tomato sauce, if desired).
Serves 4.
