Fried Ice Cream
Fried Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. margarine, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 3/4 c. coconut, 3/4 c. nuts (pecans) and 4 c. crushed cornflakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt margarine and brown sugar in a saucepan.
Add coconut, pecans and cornflakes.
Spread 1/2 of mixture in a 9 x 13 freezable container.
Spread ice cream over mixture and top with the remaining mixture.
Put in freezer until ready to serve. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with Cool Whip and cherries.
