Fried Green Onions
Fried Green Onions is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 to 12 medium green onions, chopped, 4 to 6 slices bacon, 2 c. milk, 4 tbsp. cornstarch or enough to thicken and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook bacon in skillet, remove bacon and add green onions, cook 2 or 3 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in milk and add to onion mixture.
Cook until thick and season to taste.
This is excellent with cornbread.
