Fried Chicken
Fried Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. chicken, cut into flat serving pieces, 4 tbsp. whole wheat flour, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1/2 c. butter or butter and oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Split breasts so that they will be flat.
Put the flour and pepper into a bag and shake the chicken pieces until fully covered with flour.
Butter, but moderately hot. Fry pieces without crowding. Do cover.
It should take 3/4 hour to cook
3 pound chicken.
