Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 frying chicken, 2 c. buttermilk, 1 c. flour, 2 rounded tsp. dry mustard and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut up chicken, wash and pat dry.
Combine flour, dry mustard and garlic powder.
(I use a plastic bag to dredge chicken in.) Dip chicken in buttermilk and then in flour mixture.
Brown in oil or fat of your choice.
Place browned chicken in shallow roaster or pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven until fork-tender.
