Fresh Pear Cake
Fresh Pear Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. oil, 3 eggs or egg substitute, 2 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar and oil.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients; add to sugar-egg mixture, mixing well.
Stir in pears and pecans.
Batter will be stiff.
Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350Β° for about 1 hour or until done.
Cool about 5 minutes and remove from pan.
Freezes well.
