Mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar.
Spread over bottom of 2 pie crusts.
Spread sliced peaches over cream cheese mixture; set aside.
Mix 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and water together.
Bring to a boil and add Jell-O, mixing well.
Cool slightly, then spread over peaches.
Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate.
