Fresh Creamed Corn
Fresh Creamed Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 fresh ears of corn, 2 slices bacon, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 tsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cut corn from cob; set aside.
In 8-inch skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble, reserving drippings.
Add corn, milk, sugar, salt and pepper to reserved drippings. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In screw top jar shake together light cream and flour until combined, stir into corn mixture.
Add butter or margarine, cook, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.
Garnish with crumbled bacon.
