Fresh Apple Nut Bread
Fresh Apple Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. packed light brown sugar, 2 eggs, 3 c. unsifted flour (all-purpose) and 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In large cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs. Mix flour, soda, baking powder, salt, lemon rind, nuts, spices and grated apple.
Blend into creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
A greased and floured 9 x 5-inch pan. Bake in preheated
350Β° oven for 1 hour.
Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
Makes 1 loaf.
