Fresh Apple Dessert
Fresh Apple Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. betty crocker super moist yellow cake mix, 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1 c. sour cream or low-fat sour cream, 1 egg or 1/4 c. frozen cholesterol-free egg product (thawed) and 1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Mix cake mix (dry), margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon until crumbly.
Reserve 2/3 cup crumbly mixture. Press remaining crumbly mixture in bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Arrange apple slices on mixture in pan.
Beat sour cream and egg until blended; spread over apples.
Sprinkle with remaining mixture.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until topping is light golden brown; cool.
