Fresh Apple Dessert
Fresh Apple Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yellow cake mix, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 c. packed brown sugar and 2 large cooking apples or firm ripe pears, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Mix dry cake mix, margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon until crumbly.
Reserve 2/3 cup.
Press remaining crumbly mixture in bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch rectangular pan.
Arrange apple slices on mixture in pan.
Beat sour cream and egg until blended; spread over mixture.
Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mixture.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Serves 16.
