Fresh Apple Crunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 or 6 apples, sliced, a few dashes of lemon juice, 1/2 c. or more water, 1/2 c. or more sugar and dash of cinnamon and nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Fill a casserole dish with sliced apples. If very sweet, add the lemon juice.
Add the water, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Crumble the bread over top. Sprinkle the brown sugar over. Dot generously with butter or margarine.
Cook 45 minutes or until apples are tender at 350Β°.
