Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 3/4 c. coarsely chopped peeled apples, 1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Add sugar to apples, stir to combine, let stand 10 minutes. Sift flour with salt and spices and soda.
Blend oil and egg into apple mixture.
Add flour mix, stirring until just blended, fold in raisins and nuts.
Pour batter into waxed paper lined (greased the paper) 9-inch square or round pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 55 minutes.
Cool and sprinkle with confectioners sugar or serve warm with vanilla ice cream or double the recipe, making 2 cakes and ice with cream cheese icing.
