Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. peeled and diced apples, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 1/2 c. flour and 2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Pour sugar over apples and let stand about 1 hour.
Separate eggs.
Beat whites stiff.
Add yolk and Crisco oil.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Pour egg mixture over apples.
Add dry ingredients and nuts; mix well.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350Β° for about 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
