Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Add oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add flour mixture slowly.
Mix thoroughly. Add apples and pecans.
Bake at 350Β° in greased and lightly floured pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cool completely in pan before trying to remove.
