Mix first four ingredients in a large bowl, sift all dry ingredients together.
Add to first four ingredients.
Mix in 3 cups of diced apples and 1 cup nuts.
Mix by hand.
Pour into tube pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours in a 325Β° oven.
