Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 2 hours 22 minutes. Made with c. raw apples, chopped, lemon juice, c. salad oil, c. sugar and large eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Prepare apples.
Put a little lemon juice over them; set aside and cover.
Add sugar and eggs oil; mix well at low speed until creamy and smooth.
Sift flour and measure.
Sift again with salt, soda and baking powder.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture a little at time.
Fold in well after each addition; add vanilla.
When batter is stiff, remove beaters and finish mixing by hand.
Fold in apples and nuts.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 55 minutes to 1 hour at 350Β°.
