Cream sugar and eggs.
Add oil; mix.
Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice; add to egg mixture gradually.
Fold in apples, nuts and dates.
Bake approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350Β° (depending on your oven).
Cook in tube pan; good with whipped cream.
