Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c. flour and 4 c. peeled, diced apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; mix well.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Batter will be stiff.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Pour into well buttered tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Let cake cool 30 minutes before removing from pan.
May use 13 x 9-inch pan; bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
