Fresh Apple Cake

Chop apples and set aside.
Measure oil into large bowl; add sugar, egg and vanilla.
Beat until creamy.
Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder together.
Add small amounts at a time to creamed mixture.
Fold in pecans and apples.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 55 to 60 minutes at 350Β°.
