French Peas
French Peas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 to 8 large lettuce leaves, 2 lb. fresh peas, shelled, 2 tbsp. thinly sliced green onions or scallions, 1/2 tsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cover the bottom and sides of a 10-inch skillet with some of the moist lettuce leaves.
Top with peas, green onions, sugar, salt and pepper and dot with butter.
Cover skillet and cook over low heat 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove lettuce leaves.
Toss peas well before serving.
Makes 4 servings.
