French Bread
French Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. water, 2 pkg. yeast, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/4 c. crisco and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Add yeast, sugar and salt to warm water.
Mix Crisco with 1/2 the flour and all milk until mealy, then add yeast mixture.
Add rest of flour; let rise in greased pan until double.
Roll out in long rolls; brush with milk.
Let rise again, then bake at 400Β° for about 30 minutes.
