French Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 6 to 7 sliced apples (i use mcintosh or jonathans), 1/2 c. butter and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Mix with apples; put into unbaked pie crust.
Mix until crumbly the butter, brown sugar and flour. Spread on top of apples.
Bake at 400Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
