Freezer Pickles
Freezer Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. cukes (about 5 large), sliced thin, 1 large onion, sliced thin, 2 tbsp. salt, 2/3 c. oil and 2/3 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix cukes, onion and salt in large bowl.
Let stand two hours. Drain well. Pack in freezer containers, leaving one-inch headspace.
Mix oil, vinegar, sugar and dill.
Pour into each container to cover.
Seal and freeze or refrigerate.
Makes 2 quarts.
