Made with 6 to 7 medium white potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed, 1 to 2 large onions, peeled and sliced, 1 large can sauerkraut, drained and 1 lb. frankfurters, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Saute onions in a little butter until golden.

Set aside. Drain sauerkraut and place on bottom of baking pan.

Spread mashed potatoes over sauerkraut.

Arrange frankfurters on potatoes. Arrange sauteed onions over frankfurters.

Bake at 350Β° for about 30 minutes.
