Forgotten Chicken
Forgotten Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. uncooked rice, 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1 1/2 c. water, chicken pieces to serve 6 and 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish and place rice in the bottom. Combine soup and water.
Pour half of the soup mixture over rice and let stand a few minutes.
Place chicken over rice.
Add salt, pepper and remaining soup mixture.
Top with dry onion soup mix. Cover with foil and bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
