Foolproof Pie Crust
Foolproof Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 3/4 c. shortening, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 large egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix together flour, salt, shortening and sugar until crumbly. Beat together with fork egg, cold water and vinegar.
Combine both mixtures.
Divide into 5 portions.
Shape into patties and wrap in wax paper and chill 1/2 hour before using.
Can be frozen for later.
Will keep for long time in freezer.
