Foiled Trout
Foiled Trout is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 carrots, 2 small white onions, 2 shallots or green onions, 2 celery stalks and butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Chop the vegetables fine and saute them in 1/4 cup butter until tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Split and clean the trout; stuff each with the vegetables.
Dot with butter and place 3 inches from the broiler.
Broil 4 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Place fish in foil.
Crimp edges of foil to seal.
Oil the foil. Place on buttered cookie sheets and bake at 425Β° for 15 to 18 minutes.
