Florida Orange Pie
Florida Orange Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. orange juice, 1 c. orange sections, cut in pieces, 2 tbsp. grated orange rind, 1 c. sugar and 5 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine orange juice, orange sections, rind, sugar and cornstarch.
Cook on low heat until clear.
Add a little hot mixture to beaten egg yolks.
Return to hot mixture and cook about 5 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Blend in lemon juice and margarine.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Be sure filling and shells are both hot or both cold.
Cover with meringue.
Bake at 350Β° until meringue is lightly browned.
