Floating Fruit Parfaits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sliced strawberries, 3/4 c. boiling water, 1 pkg. jell-o brand strawberry or any flavor gelatin, 1/2 c. cold water and 3/4 c. ice cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Divide fruit among 6 parfait glasses.
Stir water into gelatin until dissolved.
Stir in cold water and ice cubes until ice melts.
Pour 3/4 cup gelatin over strawberries in glasses.
Refrigerate 20 minutes, until set but not firm.
Stir 1 cup whipped topping into remaining gelatin with whisk until smooth.
Spoon over gelatin in glasses.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Garnish with remaining whipped topping.
