Flan
Flan is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. granulated sugar, 4 eggs, well beaten, 2 large cans evaporated milk, 1 c. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat sugar in a heavy skillet, stirring constantly, until sugar melts and turns golden brown.
Quickly remove from heat and pour into a round cake pan (tip pan to distribute evenly).
Let cool.
Preheat oven to 350Β° and make custard by mixing eggs, evaporated milk, 1 cup sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour over caramel in pan and bake, standing in pan of hot water for 60 minutes, or until knife inserted in custard comes out clean.
Turn out onto flat dessert plate with rim when cooled.
