Flaky Apple Foldovers
Flaky Apple Foldovers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 oz. can hungry jack refrigerated biscuits, 2/3 c. sugar, 3/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1/4 c. chopped peeled apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 375°.
Separate biscuits. Press or roll each to a 4-inch circle.
In small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
2 tablespoons apples onto center of each flattened biscuit.
Spoon 1 teaspoon sugar mixture over apples.
In half over filling.
Press both sides of each in butter, then in remaining sugar mixture. Place in ungreased jelly roll pan.
375° for 15 or 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from pan to cool.
Serve warm or cool.
