Five Minute Potage
Five Minute Potage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 small onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, chopped, generous dash of wine and 1 can bean and bacon soup, undiluted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the garlic and onion.
Cook for 3 minutes, reduce heat and add the undiluted bean and bacon soup.
Stir to mix well, then add the can of stewed tomatoes, wine and Italian seasonings.
Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve with tossed green salad and crusty French bread.
Serves 2.
