Five Flavors Pound Cake
Five Flavors Pound Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, 1/2 c. crisco, 3 c. sugar, 6 eggs and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream first 3 ingredients.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flour, alternating with milk.
Add 5 flavors.
Bake in a well-greased Bundt pan for 1 1/4 hours at 325Β°.
During the last 30 minutes, check to see if the top of the cake needs to be protected from overbrowning.
If so, make a tent of aluminum foil to cover the surface of the cake and continue baking.
