Five Flavor Cake
Five Flavor Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, 1/2 c. vegetable shortening, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs, well beaten (5 minutes) and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter, sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Add eggs which have been beaten thick and lemon colored (5 minutes).
Combine sifted flour and baking powder and add to cream mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in flavoring.
Spoon mixture into a 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan.
Then add glaze.
