Five Bean Salad
Five Bean Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can green beans, 1 can yellow wax beans, 1 can red kidney beans, 1 can chick peas or garbanzos and 1 pkg. frozen baby limas, cooked and cooled or 1 can of lima beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Drain beans and mix lightly in large bowl. Finely chop celery, green pepper and onions and mix with beans. Boil vinegar, water, salt and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Then cool and pour over vegetables, mix lightly but well. Refrigerate at least 24 hours before serving.
