Fish Pie
Fish Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. fine cracker crumbs, 1/3 stick melted oleo, 2 c. sweet onions, sliced thin, 2 tbsp. oleo and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Make crust of cracker crumbs and melted oleo and press into 8-inch pie plate.
Saute onions in oleo until lightly browned. Add chicken stock and stir.
Spoon onions into cracker crust. Place fish fillets over onions. Beat eggs, milk and seasonings and pour on top.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool 10 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
