Fireman's Stew
Fireman'S Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. stew beef, cut into 1-inch pieces, 1 can french onion soup, 1 can tomato soup, 3 medium potatoes and 2 or 3 carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 300°.
Mix together the two cans of soup and stew beef in a 2 quart oven dish (do not add water to soups).
Cut up potatoes and carrots and add to soup mixture.
Add peas, diced celery and diced onion.
Stir everything together and bake uncovered in 300° oven for 2 1/2 hours.
Turn off oven and leave stew in oven for another 45 minutes.
Stir before serving.
