Firehouse Onions
Firehouse Onions is an easy dinner. Made with 6 large spanish onions, 1 c. ketchup and 1 1/4 lb. stick butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Thinly slice the onions and place them in a saucepan.
Cover with water and add butter or margarine.
Simmer until onions are soft.
