Fire And Ice Pickles is an easy dinner. Made with 2 (32 oz.) jars sliced hamburger dills, drained, 4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. hot sauce, 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes and 3 cloves garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine pickles, sugar, hot sauce and pepper flakes in large bowl.
Cover; let stand 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Spoon pickles into jars.
Add a clove of garlic to each jar.
Cover with metal lids and screw on bands.
Refrigerate.
Yields 3 pints.
The longer they sit, the more bite to them.
